3 Things....

I have so much to update you on, but I need to upload new photos so the pictures can go with the words. So, I should be back around this evening with all that's been going on.

On a sad note, Brad Ragland passed away on Thursday :( It was the most heartbreaking thing I've ever had to witness. Courtney and I were at the hospital when it happened and words can't describe the pain that both Melissa and Breanna felt, and of course, are still feeling today. The visitation was on Sunday, and Courtney spent the night with Breanna that night (both her and her Mom's request), so Courtney has been a great friend through all of this. The funeral was on Monday, and we all met up at Melissa's afterwards. Bree started back to school yesterday and seems to be holding together pretty good, considering. Melissa is having a really difficult time and does't want to be alone :( My heart just breaks for them both....

Anyways, at the funeral, one of Brad's friends spoke and read the last email that Brad had sent to him, just a few days before he went in the coma. I found it SOOOO inspiring and SO very true, that I had to search online for it to share it with all of you. :(

Three things in life
that, once gone, never come back:

1. Time
2. Words
3. Opportunity

Three things in life
that can destroy a person:

1. Anger
2. Pride
3. Unforgiveness

Three things in life
that you should never lose:

1. Hope
2. Peace
3. Honesty

Three things in life
that are most valuable:

1. Love
2. Family & Friends
3. Kindness

Three things in life
that are never certain:

1. Fortune
2. Success
3. Dreams

Three things in life
that make a person who they are:

1. Commitment
2. Honesty
3. Hard work

Three Things in life
that are truly constant:

1. Father
2. Son
3. Holy Spirit

I ask the Lord to bless you,
as I pray for you today;
to guide you and protect you,
as you go along your way.

God's love is always with you,
God's promises are true.
And when you give God all your cares,
you know God will see you through.

I'll leave you with that... and I'll be back later to share all that has been going on. I met the most amazing older gentleman at the hospital who was a true blessing and I'll share his story a little later.

Have a good day everyone... and I'll be back later!
